Summary

 

Reporting to the SVP of HR, this dynamic leader is responsible for the holistic development, oversight, implementation and advancement of a comprehensive inclusion and diversity (I&D) program that aligns with the organization’s global strategic objectives. This includes the development of an inclusion and diversity roadmap for sustainable programs that promote and encourage an inclusive workforce.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Subject matter expert on innovative and new approaches to foster a community of belonging
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and pursuing strategic outcomes related to I&D
  • Partner on diversity recruitment strategies and programs that result in exceptional, diverse candidate pools
  • Analyze data and identify key trends and opportunities in support of our goals, leveraging additional insights and marketplace best practices  to advance objectives
  • Build strong relationships with employees and partners to drive awareness, action, and accountability for I&D
  • Provide strategic direction and design and deliver tools for the effective operation of IRTs (inclusive resource teams)
  • Create unconscious bias and related training for various audiences
  • Develop partnerships with key organizations that help to inform our strategies
  • Lead reviews with executive sponsors, leadership, and I&D councils
  • Provide advice, coaching, and consultation to Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs) and I&D champions within the company to strengthen employee engagement activities and initiatives
  • Partner on various required government reporting and resulting strategies

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in HR (or related Business degree) or commensurate years of work experience required.  Minimum 15 years of work experience, with at least 5 being in the DEI&B space required. Some travel required (depending on field needs).

  • Experience working within and helping to lead an organization through a period of growth in a fast-paced industry
  • Experience in managing workplace inclusion and diversity for a mid-large, publicly traded company
  • Experience partnering with all employee levels to provide strategic and productive advice
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws governing applicable reporting
  • The maturity to embrace ambiguity and ability to adapt according to changes within the organization as well as the external market
  • The ability to inspire
  • Outstanding communication skills and experience
  • High energy, self-motivated, positive attitude, service oriented, flexible, fun-loving personality with a high degree of integrity
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work across teams to drive towards a shared goal

 

Preferred Skills:

 

  • Diversity related certifications
  • Multilingual Spanish and/or French

 

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Long periods of sitting and standing may be required.  May need to lift, carry, or push heavy objects from time to time. Work environment is professional.  Might be required to drive to/from events, as needed.
