The Field & Vertical Marketing Manager will be the face of Marketing to the divisions, regions, branches and central sales teams, partnering with divisional, regional, branch, and vertical business leadership to create content and develop and execute omni-channel campaigns that drive growth targets, directly impacting pipeline generation and strengthening our brand in the industry. This person will also drive our vertical marketing to position WSMM in strategic growth areas.


  • Partner with various stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Operations, and other key stakeholders to build and execute omni-channel marketing plans aligned with company/divisional/vertical goals and priorities.
  • Lead initial development and ongoing maintenance of vertical content, ensuring optimal impact across the organization.  Lead feedback loop process.  
  • Collaborate with businesses and functions to develop and execute effective marketing programs and content for strategic verticals to build brand recognition, demand, and preference.
  • Work across departments and external agencies to develop specific client-facing marketing content.
  • Partner with Ops/Analytics colleagues to analyze marketing performance and optimize accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and budgets.


Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Marketing Communications.
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic content development as well as marketing campaign development, execution, and optimization.
  • Related industry experience desired.

  • Experience partnering with business leadership to translate objectives into omni-channel marketing campaigns that support brand and demand generation;
  • Experience analyzing campaign and optimizing marketing to drive performance;
  • Strong writing and content creation skills.
  • Experience effectively working in a matrixed organization.  Growth mindset.
