We are actively seeking a Yard Operative to join our West Midlands branch!
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday + possible overtime
Salary: £11.00 per hour
About You
We are looking for an individual who has good communication and can be hands on with problem solving. We take pride in working together as a team, which enables us to ensure that our container fleet is maintained to the best quality for our values customer. You will have experience of the hire industry; however, this is not essential! We will provide training.

About the Role
As a Yard Operative, you will have a direct reporting to our Yard Foreman/woman. As you are working in a team of Yard Operatives, it will be you and your teams responsibility to carry out routine and repair maintenance, and any modifications, in a timely and efficient manner in line with Mobile Minis company quality standards.
Your duties may vary from cleaning, painting, basic plumbing and joinery; however, training will be provided.
- Perform cleaning and preparing of cabins and containers
- Take ownership of quality and productivity of all work undertaken
- Complete all necessary paperwork as requested, to include repair and job sheets
- Support stock take of materials
- Manage on site repairs
- Comply with company procedure when checking units in and out of the yard
- Report any faults in the workshop environment to the Supervisor
- Ensure the yard and workshop is kept clean and tidy daily
- Comply with our Health and Safety procedures
