We are actively seeking an IT Applications Technician to join our team!

About You:

We are looking for an individual who has good communication and can be hands on with problem solving. We take pride in working together as a team, which enables us to ensure that our container fleet is maintained to the best quality for our values customer. You will have experience of the hire industry; however, this is not essential! We will provide training.

  • Previous experience of supporting CRM or ERP system, or experienced end-user – SAP hugely advantageous
  • Strong troubleshooting and investigative ability
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt to working with people of varying levels of technical understanding
  • Excellent internal customer service focus
  • Passionate about innovation, promoting positive change and adding real value


About the Role:

We are looking for an individual with good communication and problem solving skills, a strong leader that possesses a high quality standard and influences others to take the same approach.  You will be results-driven and actively seek out to engage with customers, working in a thriving competitive market and grow profitability.

  • Provide application support to end-users across the business, primarily SAP ERP system and related applications
  • Take responsibility for ticket enquiries from initial response through to resolution
  • Escalate issues that are common occurrence or need higher level of support. Communicating detailed findings to ensure smooth, efficient handover of issue
  • Analysing common faults and correcting them by training users, in order to reduce flow of incoming tickets
  • End-user training; new starter inductions, devise on-going refresher training programs
  • Involvement in new software application projects, supporting the Application Developer and assisting in roll-out of changes/new technologies to the wider business
