ABOUT THE JOB:

The primary focus of this position is to deliver desired application function and results to our business partners. The Business Analyst- Salesforce will be responsible for managing the Field Service Lightning App, Salesforce One App and other mobile apps. This will be done through requirement gathering and communication to the development team. The ideal candidate will advise with our mobile applications team along with our business partners on best practices, risks, design, and timing regarding the mobile applications suite development.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Serve as the liaison between the business and the Mobile Applications technical team to articulate business needs, review design, provide impact reviews and communicate the benefits and risks for any proposed solutions.
  • Provide guidance on identified risks or concerns discovered during the gathering of requirements, impact to associated workstreams in accordance to applicable business policies and standards, connected applications and/or process impact, UI changes, reporting needs, and end user training requirements
  • Clearly capture and communicate system changes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Map out the project requirements, KPIs, goals, and the work necessary to achieve project goals.
  • Act as the point of contact for all escalated Salesforce issues and questions
  • Manage and facilitate interactions needed for troubleshooting and testing. Train on system processes, and any changes implemented.
  • Assess customer and user experience for any proposed solution and establish qualitative and quantitative standards by which success can be measured to produce the best overall design for functionality, usability, and desired outcomes.
  • Communicate approved project requirements to technical personnel through clearly defined business requirements including conceptual data, process models and flowcharts
  • Provide proactive updates to the BA Manager on project status, release schedules, opportunities and challenges
  • Support QA and UAT testing; provide business updates on progress, testing and launch dates
  • Update and maintain system, process, and end user documentation; work with training and communication teams to ensure business awareness and readiness
  • Keep up to date with the new Salesforce releases and new features 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience
  • 3+ years in an Applications Development environment
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional, matrix environment
  • Experience with Power Point, Visio, Excel, Office 365, and MS Word
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with Lightning Platform
  • Salesforce Admin Certification preferred
  • Knowledge in Field Service Lightning preferred
