We are seeking a Customer Care Specialist to interact with customers on a variety of topics including products and services, misapplied payments, credit memos and billing, all to help enhance the overall customer experience.


  • Provide support and assistance to customers regarding:
    • Assist customers regarding documentation required, invoices, statements, contracts
    • Process customer payments and guide customers through customer portal set-up and usage.
    • Update purchase orders, addresses and name changes.
    • Assist customers with complaints and errors with regards to their orders and account.
    • Verify validity of customer disputes by obtaining pertinent information and investigating with internal stakeholders.
    • Follow-up to close out calls and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Other duties as assigned including back-up support to other group members.
    • Process customer pick-up requests and work with branches relating to requests for Damage & Repair documentation.
  • Update purchase orders, address and name changes
  • Assist with complaints, errors, billing and other inquiries
  • Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining pertinent information and investigating
  • Follow up to close out calls and to ensure resolution
  • Process LLW reversal and billing credits
  • Process billing for specialized accounts and web billing
  • Other duties as assigned including back-up support to other group members


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a customer service/billing role, required
  • MS Office Suite - with an emphasis on Excel
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills – accounts receivable knowledge is a plus
  • Communicate clearly: both verbal and written with a professional demeanor
  • Ability to access company’s internal systems including, Salesforce, Results, Intranet, Descartes, bank websites, e-invoicing and chat software
  • Computer, telephone and electronic office equipment
  • Regular attendance is required to fulfill the essential functions of the job
