ABOUT THE JOB:

As the DEI Program Specialist, you will play an important role in evolving and growing our I.D.E.A (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility) initiatives and programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a culture that values diversity, promotes equity, and ensures inclusion across all aspects of our organization. Reporting to our Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition & I.D.E.A, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and evaluating programmatic work that advances our I.D.E.A. goals and fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for every one of our current and prospective teammates. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Program Support: Facilitate the delivery of a range of I.D.E.A. programs, initiatives, and events that raise awareness, educate employees, and promote an inclusive workplace. 

Training & Education: Deliver training sessions, workshops, and educational materials to enhance employees' understanding of I.D.E.A. concepts and practices. 

Metrics & Reporting: Working with defined key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of DEI initiatives, track progress, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership. 

Employee Groups (IRTs): Partner with our IRTs (Inclusive Resources Teams) to provide support, resources, and guidance to amplify their impact and ensure their alignment with the company's I.D.E.A. goals. 

Data Analysis: Analyze workforce data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend evidence-based strategies to address disparities. 

Policy Review: Review & consult on existing policies and practices to identify potential areas of bias and work with relevant teams to make necessary adjustments. 

Engagement: Partner with the Comms team on internal and external communication ideas, to promote I.D.E.A. initiatives, celebrate achievements, and share best practices. 

Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, research, and best practices related to I.D.E.A. and share insights with the team. 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ​​​​​​2+ years of experience in I.D.E.A. project management, people-related, or similar roles is a plus! 
  • Strong understanding of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility concepts and best practices 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and translate them into actionable insights 
  • Experience in designing and delivering training sessions and workshops 
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work across various departments and levels of the organization 
  • Familiarity with relevant DEI laws, regulations, and compliance requirements 
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
