ABOUT THE JOB:

The candidate will work as part of a team responsible for management of data on the Salesforce platform in alignment with business needs. The candidate will work collaboratively with a talented team of technical resources to deliver and maintain accurate data within Salesforce and across multiple systems including SAP and  BI products.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Perform data import/export for security and data integrity, including periodic backups, user requested bulk updates, and data conversions in coordination with design changes
  • Act as primary salesforce data lead to partner with internal teams to execute data migration processes when onboarding new acquisition customers and orders 
  • Improve and maintain data migration templates to support business needs for data maintenance
  • Contribute to projects delivering on a variety of Salesforce implementation, migration, and development efforts, with a strong focus on understanding Salesforce data architecture. 
  • Partner with internal teams to analyze current process and suggest improvements to capitalize on the full features of the Salesforce Platform
  • Provide support to suggest changes to internal business processes and assistance to the Sales and Operations team regarding system and process documentation
  • Additional duties may entail participation in team projects and assisting with initiatives designed to streamline firm policies and procedures

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 
  • 3-5 years of increasing responsibility in an analytics role with a record of demonstrated achievement utilizing data to drive action, preferably within the B2B arena and with capital products 

 

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong knowledge of database structure and relationships with an emphasis on Salesforce Standard Architecture
  • 3+ years of experience managing data within an advanced salesforce.com instance preferred with exposure to multiple Salesforce instances an additional positive
  • Knowledge of data migration, third-party deduplication tools, and ETL with Salesforce.
  • Strong data management skills required, including experience with data consolidation and de-duplication. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Data Loader, and Deduplication tools required
  • Proven experience designing data mappings and transforming data.
  • Experience with Tableau and Informatica is a plus

  • Demonstrated knowledge of business acumen and key performance metrics 
  • Exceptional analytical skills; strong attention to detail 
  • Strong verbal and written aptitude including the ability to communicate effectively up, down and across organizational levels 
  • High level of comfort with presenting in front of an audience
  • This position requires you to be in the office 5 days a week
