ABOUT THE JOB:

WillScot's Digital & Customer Application team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud technology platform. Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning are particularly important components, as they facilitate various aspects of the order-to-cash process, including scheduling, routing, and order fulfillment. Additionally, these platforms serve as the backbone of the company's customer service operations, allowing for efficient and effective interaction with customers throughout their journey. 

The Director, Field Service & Service Cloud Applications at WillScot will play a pivotal role in spearheading the design, development, and deployment of comprehensive field service solutions. These solutions are aimed at optimizing operational processes, enriching customer experiences, and fostering business growth. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, technical prowess, and robust leadership to deliver scalable and innovative architectures for field service. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead design/development of field service solutions
  • Collaborate to gather requirements and define solution architecture. 
  • Work in collaboration with Digital and Customer Applications leadership to craft a 2-3 year Service Cloud application roadmap and vision 
  • Effectively communicate technical requirements to engineers and non-technical requirements to the business 
  • Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation. 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in computer science or related field 
  • 10+ years experience with field service management software platforms such as Salesforce Field Service, ServiceMax, or Oracle Field Service.  
  • 7+ years of experience as a SFDC project lead or architect with advanced knowledge of Salesforce platform 
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning Applications with demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and users on implementation and large scale enhancements
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies. 
  • Preferred Certifications: solution architecture, project management, or related disciplines.  Advanced Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, and Application Architect
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders and users. Track record of delivering successful field service solution implementation and driving business outcomes.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft integration platform and an understanding of the latest technology such as bots, Gen AI and machine learning
