ABOUT THE JOB:
As the Director of Commercial Analytics, you will lead a team of analysts and data experts to provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations that drive business growth and optimize commercial strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to leverage data and analytics to make informed decisions and shape the organization's commercial success.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Develop and execute the organization's commercial analytics strategy aligned with business objectives and growth targets.
- Lead the “Project One” Program, designed to drive account prioritization, opportunity/project prioritization, and next best actions for sales reps.
- Provide leadership and vision to the analytics team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of analysts and data professionals, supporting their career growth and skill development.
- Promote a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and the exploration of advanced analytical techniques.
- Oversee the design and implementation of analytical models and tools to extract insights from large datasets.
- Collaborate with teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards and reports for monitoring business performance.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other business functions to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform commercial strategies.
- Provide actionable insights to optimize pricing, product placement, and sales strategies.
- Lead the development of accurate sales forecasts and demand plans, incorporating statistical modeling and historical data analysis.
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to align production and inventory levels with anticipated demand.
- Develop and maintain regular reporting mechanisms to monitor KPIs, track progress against targets, and communicate insights to leadership.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support data-driven decision-making.
IDEAL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- Bachelor's or higher in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in leading commercial analytics teams, with a track record of driving business impact.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and inspire data professionals.
- Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong business acumen and the ability to translate data insights into actionable business recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align analytics initiatives with business goals.
- Knowledge of data governance best practices and data quality assurance.
- Familiarity with commercial and marketing concepts, sales operations, and demand forecasting.
