ABOUT THE JOB:
An Exciting Opportunity for a Dynamic Communications + Employee Experience Professional!

Key responsibilities include:
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting internal communications that elevate our commitment to enhancing workplace experiences. Your creative approach and dedication to employee engagement, paired with workplace management skills, will drive impactful messaging and initiatives across our diverse and geo-dispersed workforce.
Key responsibilities include:
- Be the driving force behind day-to-day communications to nearly 5,000 employees, utilizing various channels such as intranet, employee-facing TVs, text messaging, email, and events.
- Infuse creativity into our strategic communications, contributing engaging messaging and events that inform and connect employees across our 240+ locations across Canada, U.S., and Mexico
- Collaborate with teams to enhance messaging and make a lasting impact.
- Act as an internal ambassador for our core values, bringing them to life within our organization.
- Support strategies to enhance employee engagement through existing platforms such as “ready to Go”, our highly active peer recognition program, and promoting important milestones including Great Places to Work certifications, Most Admired Companies achievements, etc., building on our foundation of pride and trust.
- Elevate the transparency and utilization of employee feedback; using the data to develop plans, support key messages and connect employee experience programming to the company priorities and values.
- Work with employee survey vendors + tools to ensure the smooth distribution and collection of survey responses.
- Lead the planning and execution of workplace engagement projects, ensuring seamless communication and overseeing project details.
- Connected to best practices in workforce trends and social issues in support of keeping our teams and the leadership informed of potential risks and opportunities.
- Integrate workplace management strategies to enhance team engagement, productivity, and satisfaction.
- Guide a team of facilities leads to ensure positive in-office experiences for our teammates.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Marketing, Journalism, Communications (or related field) or commensurate years of work experience required.
- 5+ years of work experience required.
- Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments is required to be successful in this role.
- Travel requirement: Approximately 10% (depending on events and field needs).
Preferred Education and Experience
- Previous experience writing and editing in a corporate environment, working with employee resource groups and non-profit organizations preferred.
