ABOUT THE JOB:

Seeking a strategic and self-starting Collections Financial Analyst to join our Credit & Collections Team.  Reporting to the Manager, Credit & Collections, this person will assist in the development and management of the FIS GetPaid Collections System and provide data and analysis to management by detailing collection performance and productivity and analyzing future strategic requirements. 

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Work with Credit & Collection teams to continue development of GetPaid tool; standardize strategies, campaigns, collection templates and reporting/dashboarding.
  • Lead GetPaid automation efforts with Vendor.
  • Produce and provide analysis of Productivity Metrics
  • Regularly perform ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Help to drive process improvements and Projects within Credit & Collections environment.
  • Monitoring availability of GetPaid collection tool & work with internal stakeholders & vendor on any systematic issues. 
  • Own onboarding and offboarding process for licensed users. 
  • Collaborate cross functionally and coordinate with other departments to gather necessary data for root cause analysis and in pursuit of goals.
  • Assist in the development and analysis of the forecast and annual plan for Collection Metrics (Days Sales Outstanding, Cash Collections, Past Dues)
  • Perform financial benchmarking for Credit & Collections by analyzing current and past due trends in Key Performance Indicators. 
  • Develop and execute training for new and existing staff
  • Become a subject matter expert and resource for executing on acquisitions within Credit & Collections.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Information Technology.
•    High degree of attention to detail
•    Works well in collaborative / team environment
•    Communicate clearly: both verbal and written with a professional demeanor
•    Ability to understand & deliver on the strategy
