ABOUT THE JOB:

WillScot Mobile Mini has a great opportunity for college sophomores, juniors or seniors to join the Compensation team as a paid summer intern. The Compensation Intern will be part of the Human Resources team working on a variety of compensation related activities that align with the company’s Human Resources strategy. The position will obtain hands-on experience through assigned compensation projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Job map current roles using multiple compensation benchmarking resources
  • Update the format of current job descriptions to align with the new job description template  
  • Take inventory of all job codes and standardize job code fields within the HR system
  • Learn and understand the company’s compensation programs, policies, and practices
  • Assist with standard work creation of current compensation processes
  • Provide additional support to the HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team on various compensation items

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program with a focus in human resources or related discipline
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Effective analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication skills (verbal presentation, written communication)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Experience using Excel
