ABOUT THE JOB:

This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience across multiple disciplines with the ability to leader the practices of procurement, contract administration and various forms of licensing in alignment with IT strategy and business objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Routinely and proactively update key stakeholders with status of procurement initiatives and liaise with vendors, legal on purchase and renewal activities
  • Receiving and processing payments within the prompt pay guidelines as well as tracking and producing analytic reports for measuring the various areas of productivity
  • Align with finance to bridge the gap for tracking payments in process in order to tie them to the Company expenditures and overall budget
  • Collaborate internally to ensure that all new vendor requirements, licenses, and agreements are tracked, reported on, and fulfilled/coordinated with compliance
  • Generate and manage the company Purchase Orders and PR process through PO and PR creation and approval
  • Track and process invoices, responding to procurement inquiries and reconciling vendor issues
  • Assist in the negotiation of pricing and terms for purchase/renewals

  • This is a team-based role and may assist in other aspects of IT as well as help drive our Company’s Strategies and promote our Mission, Vision and Values. WSC has a highly collaborative culture and the successful candidate will work effectively with a broad group of senior executives, peers, and direct reports to perform the above responsibilities. 
  • Utilizes and deploys proactive customer relationship management techniques

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 8 years related experience in IT, licensing, and/or procurement functions.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced technical mastery in area of specialty and broad multidisciplinary knowledge in areas
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of procurement, contract administration and various forms of licensing
  • Demonstrate the need to coordinate with IT Management and Legal to minimize risk exposure associated with vendor contracts
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Relevant industry certifications preferred
