Managed Services Manager

ABOUT THE JOB:

The primary focus of this position is to provide leadership in growing the sales & operational development of the Managed Services division. By driving exceptional customer experience and achieve revenue goals for managed services division. Coach, lead, and monitor managed services sales representatives with respect to goals, metrics, performance and sales skills and techniques.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current process for responding and servicing customers today, investigate current vendors, communicating findings to drive better process improvements
  • Manage managed service reps and sourcing within division including all outbound calls and revenue generating opportunities
  • Work with National Accounts team on new deals, vendors, and understanding the opportunity to compliment the core business
  • Develop and maintain a cadence with the current team around QA and close/win ratio’s with our current customers
  • Coach, mentor, motivate – provide on-going feedback and support to improve performance
  • Train new and existing managed services sales representatives to increase sales productivity
  • Hold sales representatives accountable to established revenue goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations in a consistent, fair and objective manner to encourage continuous improvement
  • Resolve individual and group performance issues in a timely manner to motivate and foster teamwork
  • Drive key performance metrics to achieve company revenue goals
  • Demonstrate and model strong selling techniques and service expectations
  • Recruit, interview, select and hire managed services representatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • Yes

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 year college degree, strongly preferred
  • 5-8 years of sales experience in rental or related industry
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with coaching and employee assessment preferred
  • Salesforce.com proficiency preferred
  • Ability to multi-task with high degree of attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly: both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills
