This is an Accounting position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Control functions, which includes performing Moving Average Price reviews, conducting investigations of inventory balances and making corrections to the inventory based upon that research, coordinating all unique processing of inventory including Purchase Order errors and performing other related tasks.



•    Supervise the inventory control processes and direct staff to identify and resolve variance, and potential variances, to achieve an accurate perpetual inventory count and protect company assets.
•    Maintain, develop, and implement SOX compliant procedures that ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy are achieved while minimizing the amount of operational disruptions.
•    Strong collaboration with branch operations management, corporate operations management, procurement, finance and accounting
•    Provide management with inventory analysis, and recommend process improvements to meet the changing demands of the business and focus on inventory control
•    Management of inventory controls team and process, including collaboration with operations teams on cycle counts and exception reporting
•    Maintain inventory system integrity, ensure all parts are moved physically and systemically within operation on the system
•    Research and identify root causes of inventory discrepancies to identify process improvements
•    Work with cross functional team on data governance around materials master
•    Harmonize and maintain overhead analysis
•    Provide various ad-hoc reports as needed
•    Organize and facilitate review meetings and identify the root causes of valuation variances.
•    Coordinate with IT and management to develop improved reporting and analysis
•    Participate in the hiring inventory team and support the training of branch level operations.
•    Responsible for performance management and development of inventory accounting team.
•    Other duties, as assigned


•    Bachelor's degree is required in Finance, Accounting or related field

•    At least 5 years of accounting or finance management experience required
•    Experience with financial inventory management, cost accounting and procurement is strongly preferred
•    SAP experience is strongly preferred
