The primary focus of this position is to support and administer Salesforce.com. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the configuration and the customization of the Salesforce.com platform. This person will utilize best practices to provide operational support, technical assistance with enhancements and bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform. The Salesforce Administrator role will act as bridge between the various business units and the Customer Applications Implementation team.


Principal Responsibilities: 


  • Responsible for maintaining the functional areas of data management, accounts, contacts, leads, campaigns, opportunities, and quotes
  • Maintain and customize Sales Cloud and Service Cloud products to fit the needs of our internal clients and business units
  • Support the Business with custom reports and dashboards
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements through user feedback and personally identified areas for enhancement
  • Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, and workflow rules
  • Perform database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and data deduplication.
  • Ensure optimal performance of Salesforce.com platform and products
  • Support and train new and existing users on the salesforce.com platform
  • Implement new enhancements including creation of custom objects, workflows, email alerts and templates
  • Develop and maintain visualforce, AppExchanges, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions
  • Identify SFDC usage problems and craft technical / communication plans to IT/business teams
  • Develop and implement test cases for configuration related enhancements
  • Work with the Business/functional teams to gather requirements 
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the CRM Implementation Team. 
  • Act as a point of escalation for the Service Desk for advanced issue resolution.
  • Report status, issues and risks to the Product Manager on a regular basis 
  • Improve skills in Force.com products by completing Salesforce trailhead trails  
  • Advocate the adoption of CRM related tools and identify technical or process enhancements that will increase operational efficiencies.
  • Keep up to date with the new Salesforce releases and new features.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Salesforce Administrator certification required
  • Advanced Administrator certification a plus
  • Experience with the Salesforce Lightning framework
  • 5+ years of Salesforce experience (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud & FSL)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Experience with Power Point, Excel, Office 365, and MS Word
  • Experience with the Agile – Scrum Framework
