Sr. SharePoint/PowerApps Developer

ABOUT THE JOB:

The Sr. SharePoint/PowerApps Developer will provide an hands-on approach, and value-added services to deliver innovative SharePoint solutions using SharePoint Online and Power Platform.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Build and maintain a new landing page, department templates/pages, newsletter, banner, and videos accessible to any device.
• Use SharePoint Framework SPX to create website designs with OOTB, UI extension, page layouts, themes, and display templates.
• Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, Bootstrap, or responsive design for all devices.
• Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management
• Build and maintain workflow forms using SharePoint Designer, and PowerApps/Flow
• Provide support and technical expertise to plan and assist with SharePoint migrations, conversions, and high priority tickets
• Responsible for meeting development deadlines and and any potential issues that may impact delivery or customer satisfaction
• Provides project coordination along with PM on development projects, including assigning workloads, estimating hours, defining milestones and quality assurance
• Ensures code is reviewed, reusable and testable, meeting architectural-design and customer requirements, accountable for overall code quality
• Create or review technical designs to ensure appropriate use of technology and tools
• Review testing plans and help fill in gaps in the development process
• Supports resolution of production issues, includes independently completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis
• Employ quality process improvement techniques
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required. 
• 10+ years’ experience in SharePoint and Power Platform environments 
• Develop solutions for SharePoint Online utilizing M365 capabilities including Power Apps, Power Automate and SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• Experience in  Agile, Scrum and other development methodologies

Required Skills and Abilities: 

• Ability to create and/or implement graphical design and branding in SharePoint Online
• Ability to use Power Apps and Power Automate to provide custom solutions in SharePoint Online
• Extensive workflow development using out-of-the-box SharePoint capabilities, or Power Automate
• Demonstrated ability using and developing in SPO/M365 Understanding of agile and waterfall software development models

Preferred Education and Experience:

• To be certified in SharePoint 

Preferred Skills and Abilities: 

• Excellent planning, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills 
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to be versatile and multi-task effectively and efficiently. 
• Strong working knowledge of using Collaboration tools such as MS Teams or Zoom
• Understand Microsoft SharePoint “Out of the Box” Features
• Be Familiar with SharePoint Designer
• Understand and integrate other MS Cloud Service
• Capacity to Develop Custom Solutions
