Shop Foreman

The Shop Foreman will manage and direct activities of the shop and yard to ensure the following company expectations are met: timely repair of equipment, quality of rent ready equipment, availability of rent ready equipment, percentage of unavailable fleet, documenting and billing of damages, overtime, yard and shop flow, 5S, and yard organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Maintain and manage the fleet inventory; keeping an accurate count of the equipment on hand and communicating to operations and sales
  • Ensure that incoming equipment is cleaned, repaired and ready to go back on rent. Mark equipment with green, yellow, or red tag to indicate repair status.
  • Maintain an accurate record of damages, including pictures and communicate to operations and sales for billing.
  • Manage the activities of the yard and shop personnel to ensure daily productivity metrics are achieved.
  • Accurate and timely completion of work orders.

  • Computer, telephone, and electronic office equipment
  • MS Office Suite
  • Welder, forklift, and electric hand tools

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Welding experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with general repairs of roll off boxes and frac tanks
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Computer, telephone, and electronic office equipment
  • MS Office Suite
  • Welder, forklift, and electric hand tools
