Manager of Operational Excellence

ABOUT THE JOB:

This role will be based at one of Tank & Pump branch locations and the primary focus is to establish and implement best practices and standardization for the rental and administrative operations at all branches within the Tank and Pump division. This individual will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all SAP processes and directly responsible for the training of these processes throughout the division.  This role requires a high degree of influencing skills, detail orientation and in-depth systems knowledge.  The role will require significant overnight travel as well as ability to conduct remote meetings and training.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Acts as a subject matter expert regarding best practices in field administrative functions with specific focus on SAP processes and training. 
  • Assists in development of field resources and training manuals. 
  • Performs regular reviews of reports and data regarding items needing field action and works to proactively addressing issues. 
  • Provide our branches with high-energy and professional customer service. 
  • Provides remote and on-site support & training to Branch staff on SAP and other field administrative/office related processes. 
  • Conducts regular review of branch AP, Contract Workbench, Fleet Cockpit and other established KPI’s. Host regular review with branches, and division leadership. 
  • Acts as a main point of contact for the Branch staff to help them address and issues or concerns they may have. 
  • Provide remote and on-site support to branches on field administrative/office related issues. 
  • Troubleshoot issues that Field/Branch have and help find ways to resolve them timely, through collaboration between with field, division and Service Center leaders. 
  • Directly engage with branch staff or other individuals that may need additional training or specific one-on-one training. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required. 
  • 5+ years’ experience with Mobile Mini, recognized as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP, accounting and related processes. 
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • Recent experience with customer service, preferred 
  • Experience in rental/pump industry, preferred 
  • 2-3 years of experience in training, call center environment, or rental industry 
  • Focus on client service as the top priority 
  • Ability to assess inquiries and provide follow up that will ensure customers receive resolution 
  • Ability to work independently and provide results 
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows 
  • Strong understanding of SAP and its workflows related to AR, AP, and Procurement preferred 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred 
  • Professional presence and ability to interact with senior management in field, division and Service Center preferred
